Greenford Lutheran has an active women's group.  Its core group regularly meets once a month for lunch to enjoy bible study and fellowship.  But throughout the year it expands its ministries to include many more women  through fundraisers, craft get togethers, and fellowship events.  One of their most loved traditions is the annual Madrigal Dinner for women in December.

Throughout the year monies raised from their fundraisers help to support our outreach ministries (see the mission section of our website) as well as provide lunches/dinners for grieving families following funerals held at the church. Last year's restrictions in 2020 due to COVID 19 hampered many of their activies.  However, in 2019 the Women raised over $1,500 which allowed the group to donate to Oesterlen Youth Services, Camp Frederick Lutheran Camp, provide funeral luncheons, as well as help the Men's Group purchase new fellowship hall chairs. Thankfully with the COVID 19 restrictions easing we're looking forward to our Women's Group can resuming their activities.

The women's group enjoyed a fellowship/fundraiser by coming together to make Kolachi to sell for the Easter season.
